I studied in Cardiff, and it was there that my love for the arts took root. I was very lucky to have teachers that inspired me and encouraged me to always think big.
My love and fascination for the world around me influences my artwork. I am still learning, I hope to never stop learning and it's this sense of curiosity that finds its way into my work. I study people, animals, emotion, shape and colour. I find art, not only in my creations but in drama, literature, music, cooking... I think inspiration is infinite.
I currently specialise in portraiture. I really love doing commissioned portraits for clients... I think there is nothing more personal and special than a piece of artwork made especially for you or a loved one, and I love being a part of that special process. I find comfort in other peoples faces, everyone has a story to tell, and I hope to be able to capture a part of that story in my portraits.
I've recently started working on Animal ink portraits. I love the simplicity of the ink on the page the the elegance of that, and love pairing that with the character of different animals.
I am also a working actress, working in both television/film and theatre. Young people may recognise me from 'The Dumping Ground' on CBBC where I established myself as the character of Charlie Morris. It was for this that I won a Children's BAFTA for Best Performance in 2019.
I run my art business alongside my acting. People ask me which I prefer... and there is no answer. They both work completely in harmony with each other. I love the collaboration that acting and writing brings, whilst I love the solitary quiet of my art studio.
I love what I do, and I hope you can see that within my work.
